Hampers to be sent to Nakahama ES

The committee decided it would be a nice gesture to send a hamper of goodies to each child and staff member at Nakahama ES. On Monday the students on the committee brainstormed ideas for the hamper. We will purchase items such as snacks & stationery in bulk, and the students on the committee will set about packaging the hampers. At this stage several families are still living in the confined spaces of evacuation centres, and thus storage space is limited. We will hold off on delivery of the hampers until the families have moved to the government-provided housing. Hopefully we will be able to present the hampers in person in the very near future. We will spend 200,000 yen on this initiative. It would be terrific if we could include pictures and messages of support in each hamper, so if you’re interested in putting pen to paper drop your messages off at the 4M classroom.
