Friday, April 22nd Saint Maur forwarded a very large package of goodies to Nakahama Elementary School. Already this week the Relief Fund has enabled us to purchase and forward items that the Japanese Education Department cannot cover, such as a shredder, a laminator and a label printer. Friday’s goodies also included toothbrushes, cups and a carry bag for each student and member of staff. Also enclosed were lots of Easter eggs and letters/pictures of support and encouragement from our Elementary School students (a big thank you to our Japanese teachers who spent a good deal of time editing the letters!) In addition, we packed some Saint Maur sakura tumblers and a Saint Maur year book. Let's keep up our fund-raising efforts so that we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and teachers at Nakahama ES.
