Well done Australian School, Dhaka
Former Saint Maur math teacher, Ms. Lyn Bissonnette, hands over US$600 to Saint Maur School Head, Ms. Jeanette Thomas, during a short visit on April 5th from her present school, the Australian International School of Dhaka in Bangladesh. Ms. Bissonnette said, “The student council raised the money by making a poster describing the devastation and hanging it in the reception area. We had parent/teacher nights for four nights and the student council members stood in front of their poster and took turns asking parents for donations. The fifth night we had a fund-raising dance. It was the first time the school held a dance and it was quite successful!”
